Dr. Mimi Yeung offers general and holistic dentistry at M.Y. Dental Spa. Dr. Yeung takes a different approach to dentistry compared to traditional dentists. She combines her vast dental knowledge and expertise with artistic training — providing a more creative approach to dental care.
As a child, she spent her time learning fine arts by sculpting, painting, and drawing. Dr. Yeung’s college studies focused on the fine arts and psychology before she turned her attention to dentistry.
She earned her dentistry degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1995, where she specialized in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Yeung has 30 years of very dedicated work experience. She has chosen to focus on cosmetic procedures as it allows her to combine her artistic skills and her dental expertise to heal people.
Dr. Yeung gained more extensive knowledge of dentistry and patient care while practicing with Dr. Gary Haber and Dr. Mariana Sapir. Both of these mentors taught her vital lessons on providing exceptional care for patients.
Her commitment to learning and staying up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques in cosmetic dentistry led her to earn a faculty member position in dentistry at NYU in 1996.

Jennifer Choe DDS
Jennifer Choe is a graduate of the periodontics program at New York University College of Dentistry, where she underwent intense surgical training. As a periodontist, her foremost concern when treating patients is to always offer the highest level of patient care as well as to make sure that the patient has a comfortable and agreeable experience. Not only does she treat patients surgically, she also spends considerable time educating patients about the disease process as well as how to prevent future disease from occurring.
Her surgical philosophy is to try to save as many teeth as possible, using implants when teeth can no longer be maintained. When surgery is required, she has had 20 years of experience placing implants, doing complex surgical extractions (including wisdom teeth), bone grafts, sinus lifts, gingival grafts, and ridge augmentations. She is also able to draw a patient’s blood to offer L-PRF (leukocyte and platelet rich fibrin) to apply a patient’s own growth factors for faster healing and decreased discomfort.
She has worked extensively with other specialists and general dentists, often coordinating treatment with multi-disciplines to obtain the best possible outcome for her patients. She is devoted to her profession and spends a considerable amount of time continuing her education so that she stays abreast of the latest treatment modalities. All in all, Dr. Jennifer Choe is dedicated to offering a multitude of treatment options to her patients and is highly proficient in her surgical skills.

Nina Kumar DDS
Dr. Kumar received her education from the New York College of Dentistry in 2006 and obtained her training at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, which involved a full year of intensive training. This allowed her to become a well-rounded and knowledgeable clinician with experience in all dental specialties. Now with almost 2 decades of experience, she has dedicated the last few years of her career in the Full Mouth Rehabilitation program in New York City, under the mentorship of some incredible doctors. These last few years have given her the opportunity to work along side her mentors and other talented & extraordinary dentists! With access to the newest technologies & techniques, we have the ability to implement novel ideas, and elevate the care we provide you!
Dr. Kumar now holds a position as an Adjunct Faculty with the Full Mouth Rehabilitation, here in NYC. This has been a point of pride for her. She is now able to give back and teach other enthusiastic dentists like herself, who are also seeking excellence in their own professions.
